Apocolapse Now for the first time?

Ok so I may sound like a complete reject, but I just saw Apocalypse Now in its entirety for the very first time ever. 4 fucking hours, and a whole hour fucking talking to the french

I saw Apocolypse Now Redux in the theatres and I was SO FUCKING HUNGRY. I was like ' SHOOT THOSE FRENCH FUCKERS'!

If you thought that was good, read "The Heart of Darkness". It's the book that movie's based off of. It's not near as heroic, but the imagery blew my mind. If you read it, pay attention to everything because the themes are constant.

That excatly what I said when I saw the movie, visual eye candy, but not in the artsy farsty aspect of cinematography, and so many great little things about the movie. Robert Duvall is god! :D
