And yes, I also thought he was going to end up with Knives at the end there. On the other hand, the movie's mostly about Scott finally getting his life on track and getting ready to move forwards, to the point that he has no home or band at the end, nothing to tie him to Toronto anymore. It does make more sense for him and Ramona to go 'start over' somewhere else, rather than for him to move backwards in his own development. But yeah, this would be a lot eaiser to take if Ramona weren't such a blatant manic pixie dream girl.
