Halloween: trick-or-treating post-mortem

Last year I bought three bags of candy, handed out double-candy to the few kids who showed up, and ended up with nearly all of it left over. (I ate the leftover Nerds myself, since I really like Nerds and only get them once a year, but the leftover gummy body parts went to my office, where they were a huge hit. Go figure

We had way fewer than usual, probably because it was so cold. We have a ton of leftover candy. This is not good.

It was really nice and warm here, which probably had something to do with the high turnout. (I did have leftovers from the second batch of candy, but I donated it to the coffee table at the church I sing at. Phew!)

My favorite candy was the gummy body parts -- highly regarded by children, easy to get rid of at work, and completely untempting for me.
