Oh my holy God. I wish I had actual words to express how much I love this. How wonderful and hot and uncertain and hopeful this is. I want to throw you a parade for writing this story. A really big parade with a lot of confetti and booze. And I don't even like parades.

There is so much emotion flowing through this and it's really remarkable. There is so much left unsaid, but even that says a lot. I want to print this out and nail it to my wall, I love it so much. I love you. :)

And I'm not going to lie - I'd love to see the scene where Walt walks in the door to meet Ray. Priceless.

It's funny what you said about Ray -- I'd love to see that scene, too, but it made me think: Ray is somehow a presence in so many stories when he's not even there. Ray is everywhere!

Do you know how difficult it is for me to read Brad with anyone but Nate? It HURTS, dammit! But I did it for you! Actually, in the early days I shipped Brad/Walt a little bit. I still find it quite hot as long as they aren't together at the expense of Nate/Brad.

And you gave me that! And you know me, I'm a sucker for Brad when he's feeling things he has trouble dealing with and that theme is all over this story and it makes it lovely.

Hey! Thank you so much for reading non Nate/Brad, I really appreciate that! I was kind of shocked I wrote this pairing -- it's one I never particularly saw, but then it happened. I'm a sucker for Brad dealing with THE FEELINGS, too. I'm so glad you liked this. :)
