things I learned while in Geneva

I will get around to writing about Geneva. There is quite a lot to say about it, but I was too exhausted and too far behind in my studies during the four months to really update my journal. But I did want to have a list of stuff I learned while I was in Geneva.

Fernando Botero
Amedeo Modigliani

I've been a huge Modigliani fan since I was about 16. :) Lovelovelove his work!

Yeah, amazing work that doesn't resemble anyone else's. Are you still moving to the D.C. area? If you do, you should know that the National Gallery of Art has like 13 of his works (12 painting and a sculpture). I want to go there this summer and just focus on Modigliani.

I decided not to apply to schools in the U.S. for 2010. I'll only apply here and if that doesn't work I'll apply to U.S. schools for 2011.

And thank you! I'll 99% be in Washington D.C at the end of March 2013! :) For a conference, I really enjoy the popular culture conferences and I hope to go to all of them!

That's a great time to visit D.C. It's right as the cherry blossoms are coming out and generally right before the festival (and the throngs of tourists that flood in). It's actually a very magical time.
