December 21st: Start of Winsol. The longest, darkest night. Their New Year.
December 24th: Christmas (Imported from Earth)!
Okay, so Christmas is the only holiday that's a big deal both on Earth and in Kaeleer (and only because they can adapt it into Winsol), so Christmas is going to be the matching calendar date for both timelines; ie, while there will also be a Winsol in June, there will ALWAYS be Winsol celebrations around Christmas, too.
So, that in mind, here's the basic calendar breakdown.

As of Jan. 2016, Karla & co have been in Glacia for 5 years.. The Glacian Civil War lasted about a year (May-Nov 2013) and then 4 years of relative peace (2014, 2015). Karla graduated at 19, is now 24, making Warren and Raven both 25. Kayla will be 2 in January 2016 and three in July. Cora and Nyles are 14 and 15, respectively.
