But the kitty and Joni seemed to get along well. Jono had to rescue her a few times from being dragged around the apartment by one ear.

"That right you treat her with respect!" Karla shouted, before letting herself into his door. Who needed a key when they could pass through wood? A minute or so later, Karla was letting herself into his apartment. "Guess what!" she announced brightly. "We have plans today!"
