[ The reunion had not gone well. But really, what had Burn expected? On the one hand it was good that Keith still remembered him and their time in the City, and that Burn did also, but that didn't excuse that fact that Keith had been unspeakably hurt. Burn couldn't blame him, either.

Aching and sore, but thankfully alive, Burn took some time to recover himself, allow the dust to settle as it were before deciding to go searching for his friend. It wasn't difficult to track him now he had confirmed he was still within the City itself. As if that didn't make it easy enough the air felt cold with mixed feelings and an overall sense of melancholy. He knew the owner of those feelings well.

Ascending to the top of building one, Burn touched his feet carefully to the rooftop and stood for a moment, staring at his back for a time. He was already certain that Keith knew he was there, but even so he announces himself softly. ]

[ He's there, standing, and the air around the roof of the building is chilly, a low mist floating near their feet. It's an aura of guilt, sadness, anger and discomfort all at once, and he doesn't turn around to face him when he feels his presence. If he does, he knows he'll break down. ]

[ Despite the heavy atmosphere, he smiles faintly, ignoring the dull aching all over for the time being. That kind of pain would fade out and heal with time, other wounds were harder to fix. ]

Didn't break my legs or anything, no reason not to walk. And the stubborn thing comes as standard these days.

[ Carefully, he moves closer, keeping a safe distance between himself at Keith, however. For the time being there didn't seem to be any hint of the other Psychiceer starting another fight but after having his ass handed to him like that Burn was pretty sure he couldn't handle being caught off-guard in another fight just yet. ]
