anti otp: Karla/Pansy

Karla is sitting throwing rocks into the lake, unusually quiet. Lids lowered, she's pondering something that she doesn't think about much, and not too happy about it, either. She's feeling lonely, and if there's anything Karla doesn't like, it's feeling lonely.

Along comes a Pansy, shuffling along the lakeside, hands in the pockets of her dress. She spots a familiar figure several feet away but says nothing, merely smirking to herself.

Karla feels a familiar presence and snarls inwardly. Scowling, she throws another rock into the lake and says dryly, "Were you planning on just sneaking by, or weren't you going to say hello?"

Pansy glances over, amused. "Well, I was weighing out my options," she replies simply. "I see you've found something productive to do."

The next rock has a little more vehemence behind it. "Quite," she says, her tone a little sharper. "Maybe you should do the same." Another rock. This one bounces off the surface and comes flying back to Karla's hand, where she promptly throws it again.
