anti otp: Karla/Armand

Karla is currently perched in a tree by the lake, pitching rocks and muttering and laughing to herself occasionally. She's not crazy - she just looks like she is. She'd welcome an interruption, though, especially from someone who doesn't mind craning his neck to talk to her.

Armand likes the lake, but as he approaches he sees the rocks that skip across the surface or sometimes just plunge, so he looks for where they're coming from. He tracks the source to a tree.

"What is it about women and trees lately?" he calls up to Karla.

[glacianbitch]

Karla beams down at him. "Women like trees," she says with a wicked grin, "They make us feel tall." And promptly drops a leaf down and directs it with little buffets of the Grey so it lands on Armand's head.

He brushes the leaf off, and half=laughs. "But some of you are quite tall enough without trees. How did you get up that high?"

"Flew," she says with a grin. "Are you coming up, or should I come down?"
