Science Experiment: Jellybean Natural Selection

A. and I have been playing Pokemon White this year, leading to a bunch of Pokemon 'evolutions.' I've been explaining to A. that the Pokemon aren't actually evolving, but rather metamorphosizing, much like caterpillars do when they turn into butterflies. Curse this version for not having a Caterpie or Weedle lookalike near the start of the game! So
