Leviathan dragged herself into a different area of the nexus, as far as she could get from where she had found Fefnir. Blueish-black fluid ran down her left arm and soaked into her armor from a moderately deep cut on her shoulder. While she had just been clipped by the sabre, Omega was several times larger than her, and he caused a lot of damage

X was just passing through when he noticed her. The first thing he noticed was that Leviathan was sitting on the floor in armor. Wondering if she was okay, he headed toward her. As he got closer, he noticed the dark fluid running down her arm from her shoulder.

X hurried forward and dropped into a crouch beside her. "Leviathan?" He hesitantly reached out to touch her uninjured shoulder. "Levi? What happened?"

Leviathan tried to suppress the flinch, not looking at X, and just whimpered Fefnir's name again.

X frowned as Leviathan whimpered Fefnir's name. "Fefnir?" X shifted to carefully check Leviathan's injury. It looked fairly deep. She'd likely need more medical attention than just a field medical kit, if she wanted it to heal quickly. "Did he do this?"

Leviathan shook her head hard, "No. Omega and her, and-, and..."

She wrapped her arms around herself, "Fefnir's infected, and he's going to die if I don't do something soon."
