I don't find thinking about the early days of the Universe to be all that head-hurty. Thinking about what was before the Universe, however. Even if one uses one of the many-universes models, it has to come from somewhere. Or something.

Yup, that`s what I meant. We started discussing the possibility of recording data from before 400 000 years after the Big Bang, and the possibility of recording data from outside the universe... Thats when the headache really kicked in...
