The computer printed tickets had survived being folded up in my little bag. Of course, I had taken no chances and didn't fold anywhere near the bar code. After they were scanned, they gave us a commemorative ticket stub. We had bought ticket lanyards at Game 2, had them on, and put our new tickets in over the other ones! Uh huh. We were cool.

I'm glad you won the fight with yourself! The bird story also made me laugh... what happened to it after it scored??

And, I don't recall seeing balloons on tv... were they released?

The bird flew away because of the cheering. I assume he ended up back in the rafters somewhere. But I made sure to leave plenty of peanuts and shells on the floor for him!

The balloons got released VERY late, along with some streamers and some fireworks. They either (a) didn't want mess up the ice and have the players tripping over stuff on their skates, or (b) forgot. I would go with (b.)

And don't think I have given up on the fight with myself. They have a jersey here in the mall! (Shhhhh ... don't tell me!!)
