First picture: I like the colours. Second picture: Love. The. Hair. Hey, maybe you should take a picture of yourself and then draw from there. It's easier than posing in front of a mirror and suffer from cramps, haha! Third picture: Again, the hair. It looks almost real... *stares* Nice. The eyes too.
Thanks, glad you liked them. I was not sure of the second one, came out kinda eerie. "maybe you should take a picture of yourself and then draw from there. It's easier than posing in front of a mirror and suffer from cramps, haha!" It would seem a lot easier. My problem? I have a tendency to become to detail oriented when working from photos. Ive been trying to get more expressive with my work and less "photo realistic". I don't always get the cramps, just depends on the pose and how long I keep it up....Hmmm I think "keep it up" was a bad choice of words....LOL..
Hmmm I think "keep it up" was a bad choice of words.... Uh, yes. That came out kind of weird, lol!
I guess if you can capture the right pose with your camera, you can get the right expressions too. I've seen some artists who managed to get the desired expressions into their work even when they worked from photos.
