Schools can never get enough PR shit. If they get the opportunity, they usually take the snottiest, most stuck-up brat and take them from the real work to take pictures, and given their personality, they'll be a bitch about it.

Oddly, and probably because there aren't anything like the amount of natural disasters here as there are on the American continents, I remember only packing and carrying food for the next door elderly peoples' home in primary school. No lives ever really depended on our goodwill.
