i played ukulele until my fingers bled last night.
painful, but kind of exhilarating.
i've never actually enjoyed playing an instrument before. -
the vaselines
you know that feeling you get when you listen to really fantastic music? when you start to cry because you're overwhelmed by the talent and just how good they are?
i get that with almost everything sometimes. music isn't music unless it makes me emotional.
and that's a little bit different for everybody.

they're worse than i am.
so we let them pretend.
because maybe, just maybe, there's a chance that they will make something out of themselves.
i know they could amount to something fantastic. it's just everyone else that i'm worried about. -
spring break

a little part of me feels like i should still be asking how her day went and how is her sister and how is her mom. i don't know any thing about her any more. it makes me really sad, honestly.
