Announcing: The Glam Kink New Year Fic Festival!
Hello, kinksters! Our last festival was a rousing success (despite your mod's utter failure to post a festival-ending round-up post - look for that in the coming week!), and there's been some interest in doing it again, so we're back with a whole new round! This festival will also coincide with a shiny new prompting post, all ready for another year of kinky goodness.
The glam_kink New Year Fic Festival
The festival will run from January 1 through January 15 January 31. The rules are simple - find a prompt you like and write a fill for it! Fills can be any length you like, from a 100-word drabble to a 10k-plus epic.
In addition, there will be a couple different categories to inspire some friendly competition. These are as follows:
- Most fills written
- Most round one fills written
- Most round two fills written
- Most round three fills written
- Most rarepair fills written (not Adam/Tommy, Adam/Kris, or Adam/Sauli)
- Most femmeslash fills written (main pairing must be f/f)
- Longest fill written
The winners of each of these categories will be listed at the end of the festival in our "Hall of Fame" and will have our eternal gratitude for giving us so much awesome fic!
Please note: you are still more than welcome to post anonymously, but if you choose to do so I won't have a way to keep count of the fills you post. If you do wish to compete in the categories above while remaining unidentifiable, I recommend creating an LJ account for the specific purpose of posting fic.
So what can I do until the festival starts?
Have fun going through the prompts and picking out which ones you might want to fill! Or, if you prefer, you can use this post to bring attention to any prompts you're particularly hoping to see a fill for. If you choose to do this, please include a link to the original prompt so that anyone filling it doesn't have to go through every page to figure out where to post it.
You can also start writing right now, if you like! Just make sure not to post until January 1, or your fill won't be counted as part of the festival.
