Adam/Tommy, Tommy's straight anonymous August 14 2010, 09:57:47 UTC
Adam's falling for Tommy, but Tommy's straight. Like actually straight. Guys don't get his motor running at all. So Adam's trying and failing to suppress his crush, and Tommy realizes this and feels really bad because Adam his friend and his hero and he loves him, but he's just not into guys. So there's nothing to do about it sit around and wait for Adam to fall out of love. And angst. Oh, the angst.

You have no idea how badly I want to write something exactly like this, I just have no idea where to START. It's killing me.

Hm. Well, when I have a premise but don't know how things are going to go, I start by imaging the characters in that situation sitting next to each other on a couch, and try to figure out how the conversation would go. Or in this case, not go, I don't think they'd actually talk about it much. Avoid the topic, try to decide how much it's appropriate to lean against each other, and angst. And then they've probably got to get up and go lick each other at a concert. And then what?
