Pairing/Characters: Sauli with past Adam/Sauli

Sauli is certain he must be insane to accept Adam's invitation to the QAL show. Just because they're in the same area doesn't have to mean they have to be even closer, right?
Well, apparently Adam thinks so, and deep down so does Sauli.
He almost hates himself for how much of a sucker he is. Hearing that glorious voice makes him fall in love all over again.
Or still.
But it's different now. He's not quite sure what it is. Being by somebody again who truly knew you for a long time is a mindscrew of the highest order.

Maybe it's because Sauli can still remember what it was like when they made love.
Maybe it's because of all the changes he saw Adam go through during touring in that time, the emotional ups and downs, the battling with the label over the music that meant so much to him.
Maybe it's because of all the changes he went through himself just to cope. It's not just Adam knowing him so much, he understands himself more differently than he used to.
And he knows all those emotions are about to come to a head.
Quietly he enters the arena.
