Disappearing prompts

Hi,
I've submitted two Adam/Tommy prompts (yesterday & this morning)& they've both disappeared. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. They weren't wanky, I don't think they're repeatative, & I've never trolled, so I'm not sure why they both disappeared soon after being posted. Do know anything about it?

They're there now. It must be LJ, because sometimes prompts are there, & then when I click on a link a whole page disappears & the number of prompts will suddenly decrease, really odd. Thank you by the way, love the meme, & the festival was a great idea :)
i honestly have no idea what was going on (i only check lj about once a week or so. :[) but i'm glad it as all resolved as i love this comm and my delicious ships. <3333333
Seems the revised rules post is closed to comments, so ill leave ly comment here. I'm not sure what happened, but whatever it is I can't imagine was really all that bad. I really thinking screening comments and the delay attached to that for posting and also receiving notifications, really has a negative effect on anon fills. A lot of writers, myself included use this feature of the meme to try stuff we would not ordinarily do under our own handles (new characters, new styles, risque or just plain different for us subject matter). Often, anon fills are the most interesting--probably due in part to that reason. I just think this rule unnecessarily kills potential new fic which should be the opposite intentions around here. I understand the impetus, but I think we might be chopping of our noses to get rid of a zit on this one. Just my two cents.
And I completely agree with you - it SUCKS, and I really don't want to discourage anon posting. But the post was starting to look more like a wank post than anything to do with fic - it was out of control. I would really like to turn screening off as soon as possible. The comm is getting a lot of attention right now, but I have a feeling that's temporary. Hopefully we'll be able to go back to open posting within the next few days.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm constantly feeling my way on what's best for the comm, and hearing other opinions is vital to that. <3
I agree that anon prompts are fantastic, and are one of my most loved things. That being said, wank is a very big problem for me and for a big part of the meme visitors, I think. In my case, it's even enough of a turn off that I will leave the fandom if the drama gets to be too much.
If we could all act like adults, and they were isolated incidents, then I would agree with you. But just going by the sheer number of deleted prompts, it seems that is not the case. And I think that negative criticism on anon prompts for some stupid reason is even a bigger problem than the posting delay. It' such a pity, but I think this is the right way to go. Just my two cents.
