Arrrgh! That is truly shocking. It annoys me enough if someone's underlined or asterisked with pencil in a library book but that's terrible! Also, people who fold corners as page holders. Kill them.
I'm glad I'm not the only one this truly irks! You know what annoyed me more though? When I went to take out all my books and some of the date stampy bits at the front were full.. instead of sticking in a new sheet the librarian STAMPED THE DATE STRAIGHT ONTO THE PAGE!!! What kind of world do we live in!? Hope was saved temporarily when I found a bookmark in another book, but I thought it was probably the same person who'd scribbled all over the marked page anyway. Wah
( ... )
I'm so glad this annoys you too! Who are these evil people!? They must be stopped!! Some people go nuts and underline half the frigging book - what is the bloody point!? Although sometimes it is funny when you can tell someone has taken the same book out to write the same essay or answer the same question. Did I say funny? I still meant EVIL!! xxxxx
Ha, exactly! You can't go quoting entire pages of books! Wah! Why do people do this! This morning on opening up a new book someone had underlined a paragraph in red biro. If that wasn't BAD ENOUGH they'd also done it so wonkily they'd basically crossed out the whole thing! Useful!?! I'm narky about pencils too - especially on old paper, there isn't a hope in hell of erasing it without taking half the page with you! Wah! Anger!!!! xxxxx
No Miss, I've never biro'd on sections in a book. WELL I lie! I did draw it in my High School Religious Education book; but what Catholic retarded child didn't?! Jeebus just doesn't look good without biro peeabs and a willy *hehe*
Ahh Kat you crack me up :) I can't remember if we even had RE books, I can imagine if we did people just lobbed them at our teacher. She had multiple nervous breakdowns and eventually left. Hence why I only gots the nine gcses. Bloody religion - always causing hassle isn't it? I always remember seeing marker pen knobs drawn all over the local rec. Only I'd never seen one and have since remarked on how shockingly anatomically inaccurate they are. xxxxx
