Yay, I love this story. The other day at work, I was preparing snacks for our after school program and the JK class was hearing this story. Though the kids stayed quiet and listened, I was wondering if they wanted to ask the same questions Jesse and Ryan did (I almost typed Hannah and Joshie LOL).

Oh cool! I kinda went inside the mind of a 8 and 3 year old (lots of experience from cousins lol) and wrote what I thought a kid would think. I mean, T'was and a lot of other words are kinda hard for a kid with a small attention span and limited-to-education vocabulary to understand. Haha, I kinda had to look up what 'T'was' was exactly! I mean, I had a clue, but really, I don't think-other than when they are reading the poem/story-I've ever heard someone use that in an actual conversation!
