hey for your idea about the ipod cases with vinyl. make sure you a. either have a good sewing machine or the right needles that can handle that stuff. or b. wear safety goggles or sunglasses while sewing the vinyl. the needles have a tendacy to snap off and fly at your eyes super fast. it's insane.

i actually have to sew the vinyl by hand.
i dont have a machine needle that can sew vinyl.
but thanks for telling me that before i lost my eye!
