Nice! It's good to see that, while he is upset about it, Tunnel Rat isn't letting it upset him like he would have done earlier, before their relationship came to light.

The ending feels fine to me, though it does kind of seem like you might be setting something up. That part is probably just me though.

I guess being free from the burden of keeping that secret just frees up a lot in general, really.

I never set anything in particular up (unless I'm writing the first half of a two parter), since I usually write these before I know what's going to happen to them next, but I guess I do like to set up general 'and then danger will probably occur'-ness that I can twist to whatever the next episode gives me...

Speaking of... I don't know if I want to write an episode fic this week or wait and write everything after part two. I mean, the first half has enough that I could, but I'll have to feel things out a bit. I guess I can start writing, and if it feels like I don't have a whole ficlet, I can wait for the second half of the finale...

Mm..waiting might be your best bet. Yesterday's episode is pretty self-contained on itself, but seeing the next one would definitely clear a few things up. Also, what's up with some of TR's lines? He seemed to be more of a jerk in this episode. If he and RB didn't have a fight beforehand, I'll bet they will afterwards.

This is such a sweet, quiet piece. Honestly, I think that reading these fics improves how I see the show and the characters- I mean, it makes me see T Rat and Roadblock a bit deeper, even if it's just a fan interpretation. Nikky's doubts and Roadblock knowing what he means, even when it's not just him, and prying without really prying are just wonderful. It's not just about the slash of it, either, I just love how you write them. But the slash is a huge bonus. XD

So, um, yes. Your fics in the back of my mind make the actual episodes even better. *hug*
