As a Shinto priestess and Senshi, Rei had always been more perceptive than most. Something in her blood akin to fire felt things in the midst, the stirring of the sand. That day was no different. She felt it as soon as she awoke, slightly disoriented by a plea from a lost dream. Her daily chores faded and were colorless in her eyes, and as she started sweeping leaves off the temple grounds, she felt it. The finest of hairs prickled on her body and goose bumps fleshed out across her skin. In the distance something was unraveling and awakening. In the distance lay something she used to remember, something she once held dear.
Buried in the far ends of the earth, the ice melted from around his body and Jadeite opened his eyes.
