Haley James, where did you go...?

A conversation with xandersgirl18 got me thinking about the good old days of One Tree Hill. Back when I used to enjoy watching the show, back when I used to refresh the, uh, TV, to see if it was available for, uh, watching. (Legally, of course ( Read more... )

I'm resentful on Haley's part too. Joy is SUCH a good actress, she should be put to better use. Any other show that would hire her, would give her something to do. GG should hire her and she could be like Rufus' younger sister or something. That would be cute. :)

Ooh, yes! And who should she be paired up with? A few episodes earlier I would've said Jack Bass, but then they went and turned him into an abusive crackhead, so... maybe not.

Well, I can tell you who they wouldn't pair her up with: Nate! LOL!

Chuck would hit on her, but IDK...maybe they'd invent a character or something.

LOL! Well, you never know. If she ever did come onto the show, they probably would pair her with Nate at some point. He's been with practically everybody else!

I loved Haley's character in season one. The pilot episode HAD HER SAYING FUNNY LINES, where the fuck did that go? I hate it when actresses are used primarily as a background for a male character.

Why couldn't she have become a music professor at an ivy league college and have the same amount, if not more, success than her male counter parts? SCHWANN YOU HAVE FAILED.

Also, Hi New Friend!

Hi back, New Friend!

I miss Haley saying funny things too, and not just having to say lame lines in a charming way. Remember that line she had about Dan slash father of Lucas slash something slash my wrists if I ever hear this story again?

And yes! Being valedictorian of her high school, I think she would be *much* more successful than they are showing her to be now. I know it's probably because of Nathan and Jamie, and how are they going to keep her in Tree Hill if she's a high-powered attorney or something, but still! They should at least address it, and not in some throwaway line. Instead, they've got her not being able to control her class and having stage fright. Um...?

Fail.
