“Target spotted.” Liz spoke quietly into her radio.
“Roger that,” Colby replied. “Get into position.”
Liz crouched down, their target wasn’t facing her direction, but she didn’t want to take any chances.
Colby mimicked her stance. “On your call.”
“Move in and stay low.”
Colby nodded and followed Liz into the room.
Once close enough, Liz stood up slowly, Colby following her lead.
On Liz’s signal, they both threw their arms out, successfully trapping the target between both of their bodies.
“How’s it going partner?” Colby asked, grinning at a very pissed off Nikki Betancourt.
“Having a good coffee break?” Liz asked.
Nikki turned her head from Colby to Liz, her murderous glare speaking in volumes. ‘What the hell?!”
“Well, we figured you needed a hug today, so we got creative.” Liz replied, laughing at Nikki’s expression.
“I’m going to kill you.”
“Aww come on Nik,” Colby replied, releasing his hold as Liz did the same from Nikki’s other side. “Its all in good fun.”
Nikki glared at them again before rising out of her seat and walking to the door.
“Where are you going?” Liz asked, still laughing.
Nikki turned slightly, “To scrub myself clean and plan for revenge.”
