"The Comeback Kid" or "How Soon We Forget"

I'm going to be making use of the LJ-cut function because I will be posting some upsetting pictures that are not for the faint of heart. You have been warned.

Want to know what I think of Chris Brown receiving a standing ovation at the Grammy awards last night? )

I didn't watch the Grammys and did not know that this happened. I absolutely agree with everything you have to say and am sickened that the audience (live/television) has condoned these actions.

Let us not forget that Nike resigned Mike Vick as a spokesperson once he got out jail for racketering (running a pit bull fighting ring)
I didn't watch the grammy's and cant comment on that but it sounds like the same amnesia that makes Nike think that Mike Vick is a good role model for kids

Disgusting. There's second chances and then there's blatant oversight. Not cool at all.

I agree second chances are a good thing - but not as a paid role model
Hey kids its cool to torture animals! - Now buy this thing

Needless to say I boycott Nike products and unsubbed their Nike Woman's page with the note that I'll be back when he is long gone...

Good for you - I also like to exercise my right as a consumer. Hit 'em where it hurts (even if it doesn't seem like that big of a protest).
