In fact, I know I can't. You can come fit into my routine anytime... fighting with the teen, cleaning up after the little one... ;)

I think I lost my temper twice when I was a mod at KD. And then I think I apologized. Mostly I tried to keep the peace. I hate fighting and name calling.
My teen turned 21 today. I SURVIVED and although I am surprised sometimes, she did too. But I remember the teen wrangling.
I am not a very fast knitter, really. I just keep at it. I have been knitting for a children's school in Afghanistan. Woolly hats, mittens and socks. Last project we were asked to knit 300 mittens in about 3 weeks. I managed two pairs, but some of the ladies knit 6 or 7 pairs. How do they do that? The internet group managed to produce over 1500 pairs of mittens. Just think of all those warm fingers. Living in Virginia, there isn't a lot of call for thick mittens. I wish.

Now I am knitting hats for the homeless in NYC. Keeps me out of trouble. :-}
