Don't define yourself by how you think you'll be perceived by a man! Gak!
You *earned* that grey hair and should be damned proud of every one. It's called going platinum! Frumpy? Hmph. Smart enough to be comfortable!
And if you don't like what you see, you can change! You can become a dashing red head, a mysterious brunette, a stunning blonde! Me? I *like* my grey hair... then again, I'm just groovin' on the Crone energy.
You're seeing yourself through mud coloured spectacles, rather than rose coloured! You're bold enough to chase your dreams, and creative enough to choose Art as your path. Those are things to be PROUD of! Okay, so you're unemployed. You're sure as hell not the only one! Do you have any idea what the unemployment figures are like these days?!
Everything you say is absolutely correct. I think sometimes I have to wallow in it for a bit, ya get me?
As for the grey hair? Well...I must secretly like it because I'm not acting too quickly to get rid of it and I find myself fascinated by how much keeps appearing.
the statues as a set seem like a way cool idea..... would they be linked or loose so you can play around with the order of the spiral?
as to the other part - we'd say the right person would look past the things you list and see the full picture of who you are.... and there is more, a whole lot more than the parts you just listed that make you who you are.... but that is validation from without and it is good and all but is best served when you also see the same things looking from within even if that may be damned hard right now
You're right and I've always had a problem trying to view myself truthfully. I and myself don't have a very good relationship.
As for the *idea*? They would be separate from one another. I've also been toying with the idea of the faces being somewhat exaggerated, not realistic. I think I want the expression to be focal point. Eyes are difficult to get to *show* expression....it's the lines around the eyes that do that. What I mean is that...the light in the eye is very much something that can be perceived when you look at someone, but you can't create that light within clay or stone. SOOOo you have to rely on the lines around.

That's why they're calling it 'power platinum' these days. Reclaim the silver!
