I particularly enjoyed how you didn't use Cook and Naomi's names, just used feelings about the other characters and relations to them to shine light on it...
I really liked this. It was a bit disjointed, but I thought it really added to the bittersweet quality of the piece, which I absolutely loved. It really fits them so well.
He never did let go of her hand. I feel like this line sums up their entire relationship really well for some reason. No matter what happens or how much either of them screws up they'll always be honest with each other and just be there. I love it.
