I would have never put much faith in that pairing but... You converted me. You told a beautiful story and explored Will very nicely. :D

Aww. Such a heart-wrenching story. And, wow, I never thought I'd like Will/Lancelot but this pairing was great. Loved how Lance told Will that it wasn't Arthur and Merlin's fault.

Great fic. Loved it :).

That was lovely. Loved that poor Will was on the outside until Lance came along. Good job.

I just happened upon this piece in looking for good Will stories, and I'm so glad I did. It's awesome. Your writing broke my heart and then put it back together again. I love how you capture how much it hurt for Will to see Merlin go to Arthur. And this pairing works so well here because you bring out how Lancelot is the perfect person to counter Will's cynicism and self-doubt.

this is such a horrendously late response it's ridiculous, I'm sorry! Haven't been on lj in a serious way in months, sorry!

Thank you so, so much! I'm so happy you liked it - I tried to balance out Will's despair and Lancelot's optimism, while keeping them (vaguely) in character - thanks again for the lovely review!
