man, something about the visual style of that movie completely entranced me. The story was so-so, it was kind of long, and i hate Colin Farrell, but damn... for some reason I really really enjoyed it. Something about the way it was shot was mesmerizing.

i hated the cinematography. during the first two minutes i was like "why does this look like it was shot on video?" and then i decided....it was shot on video. the image was inconsistant from shot to shot and i found it very distracting. it didn't even look like they used any lights. the sound was also inconsistant and i found that distracting as well. i did not even know what was going on the whole movie because i couldn't pay attention. i hated it.
