Live birth abortion my ass. If any of them had ever actually seen what we do to those kids when people DON'T decline medical assistance, and what their outcomes are, and what the parents have to go through, they might think a little differently. Ugh. some people...
I completely agree with you ... I hope very much that if I had a 23 weeker, or a baby with some sort of non-survivable syndrome, that i would have the sense to just ask to hold it until it died. It's so much more compassionate for the child, and the parents, and so much less torturous and shocking and all that ... it's awful what we have to do to them to make them try to live....
