I'm 35 for a moment....

Let's try this again. What I was going to write about the other day was the whole ordeal with the POW's. What really gets me, is how the American families are pleading to get their son/husband/brother released from an Iraqi prison. Hello?! Look what our idiot soldiers did to the Iraqi prisoners! Do you honestly think that they'll just hand ( Read more... )

Get a client to post with!
I just did my last post with one. Flawless.
And you can save entries, and don't have to worry about crashes. So instead of rushing because of a crash that's obviously imminent, you can take your time. And instead of simply losing a post because there's server trouble, you can save it, open it later, and post it from the client. It's a-fucking-mazing.

To play devil's advocate here for a second, step back and realize what you're saying. You're criticizing soldier's families for wanting to have their worthless sadistic loved ones back. "Does anyone value the life of others anymore?" Even though these soldiers may be the most horrible cunts on earth, you can't play one card without showing the hand. Value the soldier's life, and try to see it from the family's perspective - love is blind to even the most horrible of atrocities.

Unfortunately, there's no way to win this one. Create a martyr, or set an example to all war criminals that as long as a large enough force is behind you, you can do anything you want.

Have fun.

Some of you might have missed, Ben included, that the Iraqi's were killing and torturing our soldiers and soldiers of our allies on TELEVISION for some time before all this came about. Two wrongs never make a right, but I am eye for an eye with this one. I say next time they shoot a hooded soldier in the back of the head and broadcast it, we should take one of those naked motherfuckers out in the street and light him on fire live. They have treated us the same, breaking the Geneva convention before we. I also figure we have more of their prisoners, so if this is how they want to play, I say we should play harder. Really though I think we should just get the fuck out of Iraq, send my friends home and focus on our own fucked up shit here.
