I would have loved to seriously done the "Glassify a Bishie" contest but the fact remains that I can't draw male bodies at all. Or some female ones. (The only one that I've done that looks okay is Lust from FMA. She is not a bishie. She is a big boobed... sultry thing)
So I just did these really quick scribbles for shits and giggles. I hope they make you giggle too.
A crappily done Ling who wants food. Not glasses.
Kenichiro Seki who pretty much always has a blush. He's tall and is always saying "Sorry". Great at chiropractics.
Mizuiro from Bleach. YAY FOR SCRIBBLING LINES AND FAILING AT ERASING!
Gluttony wants to be sexy for Lust. If that doesn't pan out, he's going to eat the glasses. I had to hold back the urge to give him those nerd glasses with the spirals.
These pictures are crack. This is the product from me telling my friend
tsukisprite about the contest. We were thinking of ridiculous stuff. Ikkaku looks like crap.
We decided Zaraki should have a monocle. He would sit by the fire reading sonnets in a high backed leather chair. At his feet would be Yachiru wearing cat eyed glasses while sitting calmly like a little lady. Ikkaku would have (I forget what kind) glasses and be wearing a tux with tails as he would be the butler. Next to him would be Yumichika in glasses and clad in a maid uniform.
Then our brains died.
"Shakespeare's 6th Sonnet.
'Then let not winter's ragged hand deface,
In thee thy summer, ere thou be distilled:
Make sweet some vial; treasure thou some place
With beauty's treasure ere it be self-killed.
That use is not forbidden usury,
Which happies those that pay the willing loan;
That's for thy self to breed another thee,
Or ten times happier, be it ten for one;
Ten times thy self were happier than thou art,
If ten of thine ten times refigured thee:
Then what could death do if thou shouldst depart,
Leaving thee living in posterity?
Be not self-willed, for thou art much too fair
To be death's conquest and make worms thine heir,'" Zaraki read aloud. He shifted the heavy book in his arms and glanced down at the pink-haired girl. Yachiru sighed happily while placing her hands neatly in her lap.
"Now," Zaraki boomed, "Sonnet 55.
'Not marble, nor the gilded monuments
Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme;
But you shall shine more bright in these contents
Than unswept stone, besmear'd with sluttish time.
When wasteful war shall statues overturn,
And broils root out the work of masonry,
Nor Mars his sword, nor war's quick fire shall burn
The living record of your memory.
'Gainst death, and all oblivious enmity
Shall you pace forth; your praise shall still find room
Even in the eyes of all posterity
That wear this world out to the ending doom.
So, till the judgment that yourself arise,
You live in this, and dwell in lovers' eyes.'" Meanwhile the butler and maid wandered off into a corner to make out.
I know, most of these people are plain looking. But oh well.
Sorry I don't have a scanner.
Good luck to everyone!
