"Professor Cabot? Hi, it's Karla. I'm not going to be in class today--a friend had a family emergency and I'm down in Louisiana helping out." Karla's tone was markedly grim. "I'll make up the work when I return, I promise."
And then she delivered the most chilling line yet. "I'll be fine, I promise. Please don't worry."
"You don't have to switch to chicks because I'm not definitely not a chick, last I checked."
Pause. Nathan was...probably checking.
"No, still hung like a horse and ready to be ridden like one too. I'll be glad to take you dinner beforehand but the sex shop is totally second date material. That is where I put by foot down."
Monday morning, after getting back to MCA and happily noting that there wasn't a kiddie pool in the lobby, Zayne stopped at the office to place a call to one of his residents. He was pretty sure she'd be alive since, you know, he was.
"Hi, Alex Cabot? This is Zayne Carrick, your new landlord. I'm sorry I covered up your death over the weekend and... propped up your corpse in a coffee shop. Clearly, nobody was in their right mind, but I still want to apologize. I'll be giving you a sizable discount on your rent for the month to at least do a little to make up for desecrating your body. I hope we can meet again under less horrifying circumstances. Have a good day. Or at least a much better one than you did yesterday."

[Oh god, I'm sorry.]

Barring a psychotic break, I can assure you that sex is far from on my list of things to do this weekend. With you or anyone.
