Alex hadn't really expected any guests, though she had held out a small hope that Olivia might find her way back again. It was probably safest that she didn't come, anyway.

Alex was working on some legal filings while she waited for any parents or guardians to stop by.

Ah, finally! Valanice had finally happened across one of the offices of the instructors of one of Alexander's courses that she had actually chosen for him and which made sense for a young prince to take!

So she knocked lightly on the door and nodded to the woman inside. "Excuse me? My lady? Am I correct in assuming I have found the office of Alex Cabot?"

"You have," Alex said, flipping her laptop closed and offering a hand to the woman. "Please, call me Alex. Have a seat."

Well versed in a variety of different customs, Valanice easily took the hand with a firm but still ladylike shake, before moving her skirts to better accommodate taking the offered the seat. "Then it is only appropriate for you to call me Valanice," she said with a smile. "I believe my son Alexander is taking your class, Alex; I should very much like to know how he is doing, especially since it a topic that will be incredibly important in his future."
