Not sure why your shoelaces went unmentioned, but I think they're great.

The shoelaces came with the shoes, which was a bonus. Other then I am not used to having shoelaces again yet.

Right now I have my first pair of shoes with zippers and it is -weird-.

velcro! I love velcro shoes. zippers sound even better though.
ps. I got these from http://www.simpleshoes.com/ and they are pretty comfy, I highly recommend them and wish I could own all of their shoes.
