018. Back Home.

Well that was a complete and utter bore. There's nothing so annoying as seeing other rich people's houses that have now been made into Museums. It's not like we can buy any of their stuff because they are "preserving it" or whatever. And the US Aristocracy is so full of crap anyway. *eyeroll* They weren't -kings- or anything and yet they ( Read more... )

So that's where you went.

Aren't you supposed to tell people before you leave, loser?

Sorry, couldn't quite help it =/. I got kind of dragged off by my mother. She appeared at my dorm door after signing me out and everything.

And you would be one to complain about going on an expensive trip.

It was -not- expensive. We stayed with family friends who actually still own their house - they bought up the Edith Wharton one. That was actually the only interesting one to see if you ask me - seeing as how I want to be an author and all.

You're welcome to go in my place next time I get dragged to Newport.

[[ooc: if only -that- were true. Stupid owners of the Edith Wharton one still have it private so we couldn't see in it T__T. I wants to though T__T.]]

You just got to this school and you left already?

Didn't have much choice in the matter.

I tried to pay the school extra to keep me here instead of letting my Mom take me away, but apparently she'd already used bribery.

Heh, you already love us that much. ^^

But you shouldn't shrug off your family so easily. At least they want to see you, right?

I do <3.

Well...they didn't seem thrilled about seeing me again ...

What's a ghost tour?

Reply

glassesgenius August 30 2008, 01:02:42 UTC
It's where you hear ghost stories from people living in town and go around famous places that ghosts are sighted or believed to haunt and whatnot.

It's a lot of fun actually. On, one of the ones I went on there was a mirror that was standing perfectly still. Frame was completely still, mirror was completely still but for some reason the reflection in it continuously moved. Creepy, no?

I find ghost tours to be quite fun.

Is there some scientific explanation or something, or are there really ghosts there?
And they do sound fun. Imagine if a real ghost popped up or something, though.

I don't know? They didn't give us any explanation, but it's really based on what you believe.

It's hard to imagine that...

[[ooc: They really didn't give an explanation for the mirror. It was the creepiest thing I've ever seen O_o]]

It's alright. It's kind of fair, since I didn't really warn you about mine...

I'm glad you're back, Oshitari.
