Since Reliant Stadium with its retractable roof was built, there's no use for the Astrodome. There have been proposals, like turning it into a giant hotel and casino complex (little problem with gambling being illegal in Texas, but that doesn't stop the dreamers

They tried to come up with things to do with the 'Igloo' here (the rink where the Hockey Team played and there were various concerts). At last check they had gotten two sections of the fomeraly retractable dome to collapse. Not sure if it's still holding on.

I hate all the other stadiums. Always have, always will. I still call that bastard place "Enron Field." I still call Lakewood Church "The Summit."
