Queen of all she surveys (in the front yard).  Except a tiny, tiny kitten got inside her range.  I thought for sure it was a goner with all of Soluna's growling and barking.  Then kitty hissed and made Soluna back away in confusion.  Maybe she remembered when she was bit by a copperhead or cottonmouth

LOL we had a cat like that kitten. She had been born feral and was mostly tame but could not be kept indoors all the time. (She once escaped a second story window and slid down a tree when we kept her indoors after she had kittens. My parents were not good pet owners).

One day three neighborhood dogs were roaming the neighborhood (because they did that in the suburbs in the 80s before Invisible Fence) and all of us kids were afraid of them because the top dog as a German Shepherd. The dogs got to our yard and the young male cat (former kitten) promptly ran up a tree. His mom hissed and puffed up at the dogs until they ran away. Amusing as hell.
