It was okay, a bit too patheticly sentimental for my taste, but alright overall. The ending was kind of irritating. I know the fact that the girl didn't wait was supposed to symbolize that she'd ~*~moved on~*~*~~* but who cares about all of that; I'm inclined to take a more pragmatic stance on the matter and wonder why they couldn't have just stayed to chat for two seconds. The boy had obviously been longing for her and I doubt her feelings had been reduced to 0% either, so uh. Why so unnecessarily dramatic?
You ought to though! I'd like to see what you get up to. It'll be fun for you to read through the lists later on too. I mean, I was momentarily surprised to see I'd watched a nearly two-hour movie three times in a row as well, but it's a pleasant and almost lulzy type of surprise, I guess, because seriously, who does that for no good reason?
Yeah I agree. From the three parts, 1>2>3 imo. The animation was rly pretty though, which tends to be the main reason to watch Makoto Shinkai's works.
Thing is! Most of the time when I'm rewatching/rereading/whatever, I just check out a couple of scenes and stop. Haha yeah I noticed your americanpsychoamericanpsychoamericanpsycho newyorkminutenewyorkminute :D (New York Minute caught my attention first as the one I've watched and liked~)
I concur with that order of succession. And the animation probably made up for the ending, yeah. Pretty.
:D They're both good movies. NY Minute especially, even though I really shouldn't say so because it's the Olsen twins and the other one an actual, you know, movie, but yes.
