Eeeeeee, it's been SO LONG since I've read a good FMA gen h/c fic! Finding this fic totally made my day~~ I really enjoyed the mission-style plot (I'm such a sucker for these kinds of plots, haha), and your characterizations are fantastic! Really, really liked this one, so thank you for sharing it with us! ♥

Thank you for reading and thank you for your generous praise! Gen h/c is my thing. The plot sort of snuck in without my permission.

Thanks for awesome fic!!! I stayed up until 3:00 in the morning reading all the chapters. Gotta say it's going in my favorite fanfic folder. xD I love these kinds of stories that end good yet have such an angsty plot. lol Can't wait to see more from you. :)

What a beautiful story, told and wrapped up in such a beautiful manner. You have captured Ed's confusion and mistrust of the world perfectly, and I loved his realization that he is actually beginning to trust Mustang and his crew. I discovered this today and read the entire thing through, beginning to finish. Thank you so much for writing this and posting it. :)

This story is so, so much love. The relationships were so well-represented, and the paternal bits in the end were so subtle and lovely. The idea of Ed signing guardianship over to Mustang and the fact that Mustang was probably in torment about not being able to do anything the whole time Ed was incapacitated is just fwweeee. ♥ I loved all the hurt/comfort bits, all the tiny details that went with it, all the issues that this situation made Edward face. I liked the dynamic between Ed and Mason -- it's hard for me to relate Ed to college age kids because he feels simultaneously so much older and so much younger. You had the dynamic between Ed and Al down perfectly, too. Everything was balanced so well -- the story and the conflict and the internal conflict. You managed to make Mustang such a huge part of this story despite the fact that he was hardly there. And Ed's voice was also just impeccable. ♥ In short, this was an awesome story. I hope to see more from you in the future! :D

Wow! Thank you so much! I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to sell the ending. I wrote the first chapter and the last chapter at about the same time, then spent the rest of my time scratching my head and asking myself "okay, how do I get from A to Z?" So I'm really glad to hear reviews like yours. Such a relief! Thank you for taking the time to read and to comment. You've made my day! :)
