For me, it's all about the games, to hell with the peripherals or the controls. back in the day, I got a Playstation because i wanted to play FF8, then I got a PS2 because I wanted to play FFX, i even got a GBA for FF Tactics Advance. This time around, I have to pick between 2 systems because my favorite games are on or will be on both. I've decided to get a 360 mainly just because that's what the new Star Ocean game is coming out on. This wouldn't be enough of a good reason by itself (even if it never hits ps3) except for the fact that pretty much all the other games I want to play that are on ps3 are also on 360. There are a couple of other exclusives that catch my eye, mostly PC games that my poor, 6 year old comp can't run (Bioshock, Mass Effect to name a couple). All that said, my favorite platform still remains PC. I may skip the console versions and piece together a new comp so i can play them, more than likely once Dragon Age comes out
( ... )
My favorite platform is also still the pc. but that is because it's better suited for my favorite genre (Turn-based Stradegy). And I honestly don't blame you about wanting to get a 360. As I said in the blog, the reasons to get a ps3 over a 360 have been reduced to LittleBigPlanet, Infamous, and Metal Gear Solid 4. And MGS4 will eventually find its way onto the 360. you can now get a stand-alone blu-ray player and a low end xbox for the same price as a 80g ps3. the only thing you don't get is a hard-drive, which keeps you from getting DLC or playing games from the XBLA. but you can get a 60gig HD + 3mo XBL Gold account for another 100. As for upcoming PC games, It's all about Diablo III and Star Wars: Old Republic for me.
on Wow I primarily play on Bloodhoof Horde, I also sometimes play on Mannoroth Alliance, and I have a toon on Malestrom to maybe play with other friends, but I don't really get on there that often.
