I see... and you have been here much longer than I, Lieutenant, and not, I imagine, idle.

Not idle, no.

I've returned home three times, and none of those were on purpose.

How unfortunate...

Hence my problem. I cannot leave Princess Cornelia's side again, and yet-

Wanting to leave so soon, Guilford?

Wherever you go, so shall I, Princess. I need a means to leave here, if you do, though I swear to you I will stay at your sister's side, if you do, until she, too, finds peace, and a means to return here if you do not and I am taken.

I am pleased to hear that, Guilford. For now that Euphie is here, there is much to be done, much to be said.

There are those who left the city while searching for a way out, whether it was by coincidence or design...? And also those who claim that they came here willingly, so it's a distinct possibility.

It's been mostly attributed to various gods and angels, so I suppose if anyone could do it...? And there were a few cases where some seemed to know that they were needed or going back. But once they returned here -- if they did-- they were stuck again.

Nothing really dependable, I'm afraid.

And you have been here for quite some time, Sir Hellsing, correct?

Since April 30th, 2006 in the City's calendar.
