This is kind of interesting. Someone made an email list, ldspring2006-list@cems.umn.edu, with a ton of UoM students on it. That person sent 3 spam messages and then everyone started sending messages back saying how they wanted to be off the list. One person tried the signoff command for listservs and now everyone is doing it ( Read more... )

and the best thing of all is that 1-HELP, the people to call, arn't open until 5:00. Which is when I will definitely be calling them as quick as possible.

Now some dumbass from a yahoo account said that the real message to remove from the list is withdraw{ldspring2006-list} in the subject line. So now we are going to get another round of idiots sending that out.

I am calling 1-HELP now.
