Auto response from Torgopizza:
We were in class with Dave Arneson.
Dave Arneson was in Dungeons and Dragons: The Movie with Jeremy Irons.
Jeremy Irons was in Die Hard: With A Vengeance with Colleen Camp.

I love random!

I'm not sure, I'll ask Ed (Torgopizza). We went to Full Sail together and we had a class with Dave Arneson, and so yeah.

Righto.

Full Sail is a school for the media arts in Orlando, FL. I went there for Game Design. Dave Arenson is the co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, and he teaches one of the Game Design courses there.

So know you know. The battle is half won.

So, yes. :)

What would you go to Full Sail for?

Well, here's the deal with the RA program at Full Sail.

Lots and lots of people with little ability to motivate themselves or even pay attention in class come to Full Sail with the attitude of "I wanna make phat beats, dawg, I don't need no bullshit classes."

Full Sail happily takes them, because they are a business and that's what businesses do. But something on the order of 50% of those people drop. Lots of people with bad attitudes give the school a bad name.

It comes down to what you are able to do with yourself. If you have no desire to listen to other people, learn from classes, and deal with a little bit of school bullshit, then stay away. But there are success stories. One of them, my friend Dave, just graduated from the RA program recently and landed his first job in Texas.
