i lay in bed last night from 11:30 to 6:30 and i estimate that i actually slept for about an hour of that time. i hate insomnia. really. now i have to go have my teaching evaluated by a faculty member. thanks, sleep. thanks a lot.

oh no! i can't believe our santa cruz discussion didn't put you happily to sleep with good dreams. i'm sure the class will go well even so. i'll see you tonight for good sleep times.

i know. i tried so hard to focus on relaxation and hiking but it just didn't work. it's probably my fault for getting a coffee at 4 p.m. i'm surprisingly awake right now, but i don't think it'll last. i'm excited to curl up with you tonight.

just make sure if you take it, to give yourself 8 hours before you need to be up and running. otherwise you'll be up and yawning.

ugh i hate insomnia. i hope it goes/went well today.
